I am pretty disappointed actually. I was looking froward to this one, but it became apparent within the first few chapters this was a pretty full on religion vs atheism debate.
The principle characters are all extremely religious, of various faiths, and the villains are the non-believers cast as Nazi/Communist-esque baddies who want to slaughter everyone with their godless views.I have zero issue with peoples faith/religion, but this was a little too much in your face and I am not a fan of this religious moral high ground vs the non-believers stuff.
All that said Jeffrey Kafer was excellent as always and I will certainly continue to follow his work,
