This is the second book in this series by Cora Kenborn. She wrote well with a great storyline and characters to love and hate. This standalone is Mateo and Leighton’s story, a second chance at finding love. The twists and turns kept me glued to the story. Loved seeing new characters as well as characters from book one. Aaron Shedlock and Sarah Puckett are great narrators. Both being favorite narrators of mine. The book rolled like a movie in my head.
