I loved all the information provided in this book, but all very true and relatable.
Having experienced drug addiction (not myself) but being a family member of a drug addict, it’s very difficult to see the person you love become someone you don’t recognize and it’s even harder that there really isn’t anything you can do to help them. It’s sad to say, but when they are imprisoned it helps get them off the drugs, but when they are released they are different people now dealing with other demons due to their imprisonment. Which in turn brings them back to drug addiction to quiet those demons, it’s a vicious never ending cycle.
