Hated the aspect of hit points and xp in a book

So I started out really loving the whole idea behind this book. Then came the whole hit points, xp, and leveling up. I’m OK with playing a game like that but I don’t think there’s anyone that would expect to be put in a game like that and have xp, and stuff like your playing on your Xbox. Could have been so much better without that.
