This first book in a series shows some potential in the long run but this first one has a number of flaws.
I originally thought this would be an enjoyable book to get into but turned out to be a source of a lot of frustration. First, the Mc is incompetent to the point where i was hoping he would die (despite intelligence being his best stat) and the supporting character would take over. Second, the progression is extremely slow. By the end of the book, the Mc has only progressed to the second day in his real world.
The best part of this audio book is Travis’ performance. He has amazing mastery of his voice and impeccable delivery and diction. I definitely will check out other audio books performed by him.
