I think I would’ve really liked the book but the narrator was pretty bad. All the characters sounded morose, hostile, angry or a combination of the three. He read each line like he was biting/forcing the words out. I see the rest of the books have a new narrator. I’ll have to check out the sample. I almost didn’t make it through this one because of the narrator.
