I was spoiled by the narrator of the Necromancer series. The initial chapters were so rushed it was hard to absorb the details of the storyline. The pace does improve and the characters start to evolve in the narration. I will be planning to try again as I think the story itself has potential, or it at least will be worth getting through to gain better understanding of the characters I have grown to enjoy.
