Seemingly endless procession of the names of various German and Russian battle groups, reeled off with atrocious German pronunciation, which leaves the listener, at least this one, feeling as if he was hearing the same passages being played over and over, and over. I gave up because I really couldn’t grasp the main thread except that Germans fought Russians in Austria and I guessed that from the title…Probably a fine work in print but just not a pleasurable listening experience.
