Dude gives up his humanity to be with his wife. His wife is human. She’ll eventually die. She’ll eventually be taken to wherever humans go when they enter the after life. The dude will not go wherever humans eventually go. Moron will be separated from his “super important wife” ends up abandoning eternity with his wife after a short delay in exchange for a few years/decades with her.
