Main character is as wishy-washy as they come. Her reasoning that of a 12 year old. There were a few funny moments, but they were quickly buried in boring dialogue. Reader spoke so slowly, trying to effect a Southern drawl, that I ran audio speed up to 1.15 ! The male narrator, however, did a good job and was a breath of fresh air. Wish he narrated both Book One & Two. Won’t bother with Book Three.
