This about a group of gargoyles who are the guardians of the last Sanctuary where the last of humans are being protected. Demons have broken out and possessing humans. Their only hope is the last stone cutter. This was great, intense story. Each of the grotesque and gargoyles worked and fought to save there wards. I just loved Mordi, Coins and the gang. Jeff Hays really brought each character to life. He is one of the greatest narrators. If you love a good apocalyptic, urban fantasy then this book is for you.
