I love Sloane Kennedy’s books and this one is no exception. Not only are the characters deep, but you feel for them as they struggle to deal with what life has thrown at them.
In this story, two men struggle to come to terms with their pasts. One struggling to escape the brutality of his family while the other the brutality done to his family. Can Tate learn to accept the strength Hawk sees in him? Can Hawk accept the love of another man while grieving for the wife he lost so brutally? Can both men accept the second chance for love life if offering them or will they let their pasts continue to rule their present?
You will not be disappointed as you listen to their journey and follow them through the heart-stopping hurdles they must each overcome.
