Had a wonderful time listening to this book starts off a little slow but really picks up pace towards the 25% point. Fairly original with solid characters. My gripes though, the story seems to drag on, not that I don’t like long stories but there seems to be a lot going on to end up where it did. A lot of the learning the main character needs in order to succeed is done off page so it’s seems like you could have cut out the middle sections and still been fine. But it was fun to listen to the whole time it just felt a little anti climactic. Some of the character morals are really strange switching from honorable to murdurious to hypocritical. The main characters romantic interest really upset me at times. Other than that I enjoyed and can’t wait to read the next section in the chronicles.
