Don’t listen to the haters. Hell one person stated she liked the antagonist more than the MC. The antagonist date rapes a girl with drugs and videos it to use as blackmail to keep her silent. This reviewer obviously doesn’t know what she is talking about.
The VR world could be better. This isn’t my favorite author, but is good enough to warrant 5 stars. I love how the 1 star reviewers bash the writing because it isn’t unique and they find it predictable. This is a niche genre called litrpg it is meant to be a fun and enjoyable listen.
This book is fun to listen to and has deeper relationship sections. Give it a try while expecting it to fit the genre and you will be happy that you did. This is from someone who has listened to over 200 books in this and related genres.
