It’s a unique story concept that plays out well for young adults and Sci Fi Fantasy lovers.
I liked that it was original, had great character development (for the most part) and was a fun story.
It starts great with solid main characters, plot, and action. While still enjoyable, it drifts into long story add ons that are a bit dulled as the tale progresses. Some story offshoots are ok, others are a bit.. unnecessarily lengthy .. And really.. Unnecessary.
That said, it’s solid writing, good mental imagery and has a engaging cast of characters . It’s not a 5/5 given the parts that could have been edited out without loss, but there is 5 Star value for a single credit. I won’t promise you’ll love it endlessly, but I promise, if this relatively innocent fun is your genre, it’s a crazy good 5 star credit value. Worth a listen!
