I do wish the MC had at least one OP technique. I know I know. I’m spoiled from the other cultivation stories. I like that this MC is more normal and not crazy OP… but at the same time I love OP MCs. This is a nice change of pace though. Now… that funny satirical chapter at the end… that was a knee slapper. What makes it even funnier is that it’s almost exactly how a huge chunk of the LitRPG authors ACTUALLY write. Yeah it was over the top, but take a listen to some of those ridiculous harem LitRPGs sometime. Granted I’ve never listened to one on purpose (why would you?) there are several that pose as real books and that little joke chapter made it seem like she freakin channeled those perverts into her laptop. So funny. Anyway, the book is worth the cost. Money or credit. It should go without saying, but I’ll cover it anyway. Of course Baldree did incredible. It’s pointless to even talk about it but I might as well mention him just in case some newbie isn’t familiar with his work. Travis Baldree, to me, is the second best audio book narrator who has ever lived. Ray Porter is first of course, but Travis is right on his heels. Anything narrated by either of these 2 is almost a guarantee to be great. Good stuff.
