- Once again the story pulls you in immediately and never lets go. This book is just as entertaining and enjoyable as the first one was. If you haven’t listened to the “whole” series don’t let that stop you the two books that are from Lawton’s POV tell the complete story just from one POV.
It’s an interesting and fun aspect that you can get the story from one side or both sides. Seeing how each interpreted what was going on at a given time in the story.
As I said before I could tell you all kinds of really great things about the story but bottom line, you just need to listen to it and discover all the yummy goodness that is Lawton Rastor for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. It’s worth it. Your time and credit.
Lawton messed up. Big time. He jumped to conclusions, took action before he knew all the fact’s and it blew up in his face. He has his work cut out for him in trying to earn Chloe’s forgiveness and have a chance at a HEA with her.
Connor Brown is back again as the voice of Lawton Rastor. Once again he does a fantastic job with the narration. He was the perfect choice for this series. Nice voice, just how you want your rough around the edges bad boy to sound. Great character voices. Perfect tone an delivery of the humor/sarcasm. Clearly spoken with a smooth even pace. He has one of those voices that just pulls you right in and brings the characters and story to life. Very enjoyable
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and voluntarily provided this review.
