The story itself is fun and at no point was I bored, however there where a few odd decisions by the author. One was a two chapter segment involving biblical references which felt really silly and in poor taste. Also for a guy with perfect recall he seems to have a hard time remembering things he should know. Other then those two nitpicks it was a great first book.
