Delightful story, but it doesn’t translate well to audiobook. For one, there are waaaay too many characters introduced way too fast. At a certain point it’s hard to tell them apart, and you find yourself hearing a name and asking “who?”
In addition, there are character sheets described in the audiobook. In book format, these could be skimmed easily. In audiobook, they are narrated, line by agonizing line. It is painful to listen to.
Beyond these flaws, it’s a fun and worthwhile read!
