This was a beautiful love story with the highs of new love and the lows of losing love. I probably would have been an emotional mess if I hadn’t read the box set. Just reading the first book by itself would have been anguishing. Seb and Jay are so easy to become attached to.
I enjoy a well constructed sports romance because I am a lifelong athlete who appreciates the struggles of balancing personal life with sports life. CF White does a great job of including the challenges of sports without spending to much time on details.
Piers Ryman is a spectacular narrator who adds depth to all the characters with his performance.
