Admittedly, the first time I read this on Royal Road, I didn’t get very far as the swapping of perspectives and past vs present threw me off, so I didn’t give it a chance.
However when this audiobook was recommended by a friend I gave it a chance. I am super happy that I did. The world and system is very well done. All of the characters are well done and progress the story and build the world, so they don’t feel like a waste of time like many side story characters.
I highly recommend.
