I’ve really enjoyed this series. It’s light reading (listening) with some laugh-out-loud moments. I was very disappointed when there was a switch in narrators. The person who can make you want to listen all night is invaluable, and unfortunately Angie Hickman cannot do so. I can’t help comparing her monotonous manner of reading to Jessica Almasy’s wonderfully expressive way of making the characters come alive. I definitely recommend the book – not the narrator.
