Overall loved this book and how the characters came alive. The emotions were palpable and the narration was fantastic. I did not find that the sex scenes really added to the story. In fact, I felt they detracted. They were so graphic they belong in an erotica story. They just didn’t fit here. Looking forward to listening to the next in the series. Listen to The House in the Cerulean Sea for a phenomenal story by Klune.
