The contrast and similarities between 1950s and 2018 housewife was interesting. The fictional story kept me hooked! I enjoyed all of it very much. Women treated as subhuman in the 50’s certainly is appalling but the book has satisfying end. As for the thin skinned reviewer that found this book terribly offensive and unpalatable because of misogyny blah-blah, guess she forgot its a fictitious story merely for entertainment purposes and clearly not the author writing a “how to” to encourage such treatment of women!
