A dual narrated sci-fi post-apocalyptic thriller, that puts on the thrills and tension throughout. I haven’t read a ton of alien invasion books, but every time I venture into this genre I am pleasantly surprised, and this time is no exception. We get a thriller from two different POVs and the characters are likable and enjoyable to exist with in this world. The story itself moves along well and mounts with the tension and mystery up till the very end.
The narration was great and both Jeffrey Kafer and Heather Costa and they melded together in this very well. I have heard Kafer before and thought he was great, but I enjoyed hearing him in something completely different and it made me appreciate him even more. I have never heard Heather Costa before but thought she did great and look forward to hearing her again.
Good story that is told to completion with great narration. If you enjoy Apocalyptic alien stories or post-apocalyptic thrillers, in general, you should definitely check this one out.
