This was the perfect mix of darkness and obsession for me. I loved the mafia aspect, as well as the arranged/forced marriage. There wasn’t necessarily love on page yet, but you could certainly see it coming for the next book. I wasn’t aware this was a trilogy, but for once, I’m excited to read more about these 2, and I’m not daunted by the thought of reading 3 books about the same couple.
I listened to the audiobook, and both narrators did an excellent job keeping me entertained.
