Great start that could use some focus on world building. The story is great and there are some rather witty moments. Enjoyable listen and I’m jumping straight into book 2 after writing this review. The only gripe I have is that when it comes to world building there is a sense of infinite possibilities but doesn’t really seem to matter. Also, it’s a little bit difficult to keep track of game world realities and the real world realities.
Jeff Hays does an excellent job narrating here, has he always does in my opinion. it’s always a pleasure to hear more from him.
