Very, very Romeo & Juliet. Down to the instalove….. which is one of my least favorite things in the world.
But with that being said, I’m not terribly mad about how it was pulled off in this book.
Cotton never truly disappoints me, and this is no exception. Definitely a different turn than what we’ve seen from her before.
This book had a bit of everything, warring families, some light mafia action, the drama/angst that Cotton delivers so well.
I’m interested in seeing where this new series takes us.
Narration wise: I think these narrators were perfect for these characters.
