The series continues in Shoot Like a Girl, book two. We forge a deeper connection with the characters, and follow them as society breaks down further. While I love most of the characters, and I’m even ok with the “bad guys”, I have to say Olivia drives me crazy. It’s the only thing that bothers me, but I know it is realistic that there will be people who are cowards, make stupid decisions and can’t face the reality of societal collapse. So while I wish I could at least punch her, I highly recommend this book and the series.
Kevin Pierce does another fantastic job narrating this book. His performance is seamless and brings the story to life.
