I liked the sequel. It allowed for a HEA whereas you were left a HFN ending on the first book. I enjoyed visiting with these guys again and Ida and Muffy. I feel like the sexy times was cranked up to 11 in this book, so enjoy that : ) What I was missing from this story was the enemies to lovers plot line from the first book. In this book even though the guys bicker and argue like crazy it is clear they are madly in love-no longer enemies at all so the majority of the tension in the story comes from miscommunications. I am not a big fan of miscommunication as a plot device for angst and drama. So this book did not check all of the boxes for me the way the first one did, but that is just a matter of personal preference. I am glad I listened to it and got to visit with the guys again. I still love the narration by Joel Leslie and the bonus chapters at the end of the book were also good for a laugh. I would recommend this book to anyone who fell in love with Troy and Larson’s over the top personalities in the first book so you can see how their story ends.
