So, Jon Reznick worked for the government as an assassin and, boy, he was a cold blooded killer. He usually went to other countries but this time he was assigned to kill an American. Which he was going to do until something didn’t feel right and he took off with his assignment until he could figure out what was going to do. He didn’t mind killing really evil men but he wasn’t feeling that from Luntz.
This story was exciting from beginning to end and I will definitely read more of the Jon Reznick series. I enjoyed every second of this book.
There was no romance or sex but the F-bomb was used 71 times, by both Reznick and Martha Meyerstein, the Assistant Director of the FBI. IMO, that kind of talk makes a “killer-type” story far more real. People who don’t like the F-bomb should do more research on these kinds of books, ask other readers’ questions about the language. I happen to like my books to be real and without that kind of language it’s just “sissified.”
AS to the narration: Jeffrey Kafer does a great job on the men’s voices but the women’s voices are still too deep. BUT that doesn’t bother me so much since I’d rather hear a deep woman’s voice than to hear a soprano man’s voice.
