I decided to give book 2 a chance because the premise of the story is actually pretty cool and I didn’t have to pay for it. The science part of the story is pretty good, not groundbreaking but entertaining at least. The corny and ridiculous love story the author seems to have forced into the series is just awful, I can’t help but feel like it was added merely to extend the length of the book at the expense of damaging a story that was better without it. If it’s on the “included” list you may find it worth the waste of time but I would be very unhappy had I used a credit on it.
