So the voice work on this is amazing. While a lot of the feminine voices are a little too high-pitched for me, the performances from everyone are perfectly professional and each character is unique, distinct and entertaining.

The story itself is also very entertaining. It’s an interesting l spin on some of the reincarnation and RPG tropes and the plot itself has a lot of mystery and intrigue.

However, the writer is clearly young and still figuring out how to handle pacing. For those who are familiar with d&d there are moments that feel like Player Character introductions, where main characters are rushed into becoming fast friends to the point where it doesn’t seem organic or realistic. People also switch moods very quickly, going from traumatized to jovial within a single page turn. Finally I’d say that while there is an attempt to make characters realistic, they still come off as very tropey and in some cases cartoonish.

Overall, I’d say this story is very entertaining and worth a read despite some of the issues with pacing. It shows a lot of promise and I look forward to following this author and seeing how their writing progresses.
