ok first you need to go into this acknowledging that it’s a card based system. which is always odd .. especially with the random draw aspect of the system. #2..you’ll need to remember the MC is not a genius and been part of gang for decades as a thug/enforcer.
once you’ve done that…this thing rocks. the plot twists were transparent but see #2.
I really liked the Cerebus angle as well as the angels and demons.
Soundbooth did what they do ..make it better. the Narrator alone is an elite so he didn’t need the rave music in background, but it was a great touch.
so chop chop on the next 2 audiobook releases.
last thing…a PDF with the world summary/overview and graphics/images of the same cards would allow for less repeating of the cards’ special details and be a nice touch on the world building. I know they are on Reddit but you can’t tell what’s official or fan/AI made.
