I love Joel Leslie’s excellent ability to do all kinds of accents. He sounds like a posh English man when he needs to, as well as a plain farmer from Cornwall. He performs them all! So, yes, I enjoyed listening to Malachi’s and Cadan’s story, a typical Lily Morton one. This book is all sweet and fun with lots of humor. I enjoyed Malachi and Cadan, loved their chemistry.

Though Malachi seems kind of superficial at first, as the story develops you get to know him a lot better and see there’s a lot more to him than just being a popular model for underwear. That’s exactly what Cadan started to realise himself, when his first thoughts about Malachi were not very flattering, other than that he was gorgeous to look at.

This was a nice, though predictable read, told from both pov’s. But I love just about everything Lily writes, and this was no exception to that!
