Jamie Hawke’s most recent work is a pretty quick read, and at just under 6 hours rather entertaining listen. Ezra’s a chill dude trying to play it straight as he takes three prisoners to space prison when all Gehenna breaks lose. Fortunately he has the assistance (and at times, affections) of three titular psychotic women to help kick rear end and take names… and it turns out names aren’t really worth stealing, so it’s mostly just the former. It’s pretty obvious this book is a set-up for a few more in the series, but that doesn’t come off as a detriment here. Overall this is an easy audiobook to listen to if you’re a fan of Mr. Hawke’s, and an easy entry point for those unfamiliar with his vast number of franchises.
