A good 50/50 mix of a military suspense plot and romance. Great chemistry and banter between Luke and Eva (and with the rest of the team). Quality writing and storyline, funny, and HOT!
I had originally read the ebook and forgot how much I enjoyed it. My original review was “Knocked it out of the park with this one! Loved everything and want more now”. The audio made me just as happy.
Jeffrey Kafer and Heather Costa work well as the narrators because of the military-style of the book (series). I also didn’t have to speed up the narration as much as I do for others. Enjoyable at 1.25x speed.
