This was a fun little “whodunnit” set in your average small town USA. It centers on Cen, a reluctant which from a family line of powerful witches and her Aunt Pearl. The story was enjoyable enough and I had a good time with the listen, though I wish Petrea Burchard had a larger “voice” bank. Many of the characters were distinguished enough. Despite that she still did a great job and was very articulate.
The mystery was a little obvious from the get go, but I still had a good time getting to the end, Aunt Pearl kept me laughing the whole way. I would say If you’re looking for a fun read that you don’t have to put a lot of thought into, you can’t do much better than the Westwick Withces
