Great Listen, Fun Story, Excellent Narrator!

I loved Paige’s Story. It’s fun, quirky, and full of great characters. And Phil Thron’s narration, as always, is perfect for it!

Paige, who is basically a really smart, sarcastic girl, gets swept up in the business of the “grown up world” around her. And rather than being an annoying teenage character like so many books have – I really liked her. She was a well-written, very capable character.

All of the characters are really well written by the author actually… even the side characters. They all have lives and personalities… and Phil reads them all in expert fashion.

A.J. Bass has created a very real, very interesting future where the U.S. is no longer the big, happy place we’ve come to know. It’s fractured into 5 new countries and she handles the history of this very well.

I really hope book 2 is coming because I really want more of this.
