I’ve always really enjoyed the author’s stories. The ones I listened to before, he narrated personally. While I’m not usually a huge fan of that, he has a terrific voice, and I’d come to associate it with these characters. The narrator was very good, but I did struggle in the beginning to move beyond that, through no fault of the narrator.
I definitely enjoyed it. I’ve always struggled with how quick the main character fell in the last story for someone we knew very little about. That’s been my only beef with the series, so I’m excited to see what happens going forward. I hope more of the original characters are reintroduced!
