I really wanted to like this book; however, I just couldn’t get through it. Unfortunately, Unsouled just didn’t catch my attention like I was hoping. I feel like the concepts and ideas within the narrative are fantastic and grant some really great foundations for the story. However, now halfway through, there lacks a certain excitment, and it’s been a struggle to pay attention. I can’t deduct if it is the narrator or the narrative that is making me call it quits halfway through.
