Generally, this was a good book. Great idea, and mostly an enjoyable read/listen. I struggled a bulit with the vocal performance slightly- I’d say the vocals were good, but not sure they pair with this story too well. I struggled with some of the dialogue and motivations of some of the characters as well. I think there is a lot of potential here, so I’ll likely give the follow up book a read as well. I suspect/hope the writer will improve the details of the world and depth of the story in the subsequent books.
