This series is a lot of fun to listen to. The Gate of the Feral Gods does suffer a bit from middle book syndrome more than the previous two books; however, it isn’t any less enjoyable. I understand how it can seem a bit all over the place but in fairness he’s tying up things from the other books and setting up what’s to come. There’s a lot going on but its not hard to follow is what I’m getting at. I highly recommend this book and the series as a whole, Matt Dinniman is fantastic and Jeff Hays narration is classic.
