Well written, well paced, well structured, suspenseful, and action packed. A thoroughly satisfying installment of this outstanding series.

Despite the brevity of the novel and the significant action/suspense elements, Erik Carter finds time and tone to explore and humanize his characters and create vivid environments. It’s not all break-neck speed, instead paced with quiet precision to make the entire listen a pleasure.

The book within the book was a clever touch.

Gary Bennett’s narration hits the feel of the novel just right, as always.

Purchased Book 3 immediately upon finishing Book 2.
