I had to restart this book several times and still could not get engrossed in the story. The “main character” story line served as book ends to hold together several other essentially unrelated stories. The narrator was too monotone as well, which left me feeling as if I was stuck in a college lecture. I often found myself tuning out the book and it would serve as background noise for my thoughts to wander.
