This book was very long, and yet I had trouble putting it down when I needed to. I thought the style of flashbacks worked really well for the story. At the start, I was worried when it flashed back to the system inception right away, thinking it would go through all that at once, but then it went back to the present, which was great. I liked how there were enough things in the present discussed or reflected on that they foreshadowed the past experiences really well, and that those past experiences ended up foreshadowing the present ones. Overall, I really enjoyed how the story unfolded, and I will certainly be getting the next one in the series when it comes out on Audible.
