The sound design was spot on and the plot was good. The music fit and never was distracting and the songs are fun. The overall plot and what happened was fun and reasonably well paced never dragging and kept focus. But the characters are unrealistic, often unreasonable and frankly do things that make them completely unlikable. The main character is not a complete harem stereotype, but by that is that he isn’t a pure hearted good boy. He is selfish, rude, ungrateful and constantly ignorant to his situation for the sake of exposition. He instead of helping the women in his life, they have to help him and hand hold him throughout the whole book, he might as well be a side character in his own book. Also he is super whiny, with most of his dialogue complaining about what he doesn’t have and often hesitates or argues about doing things to fix it. Iris is painted to be the love interest girl next door character but is actually the main character and plot driver. She should be the main character because she basically does everything for the main character, including but not limited to bestowing the power (aka the monster hunt ap) to the main character, teaching him everything about it and is the person making all the major plot decisions.
