I dove into this series because I needed another apocolypse dose. I was pleasantly surprised that these characters were all very well developed. I felt like I was on the edge of my seat during the multiple crises depicted in all three books. The premise of a modern day plague that devastates 2/3 of the population was quite well developed. The narrator did a very good job of representing so many different characters. I am hoping that Tom Abrahams will follow this series up to answer all the questions the ending of book 3 created about Texas, the government sponsored cartels, and the rest of the chaos in the US.
