I almost gave up on this book after the first few minutes because the narration was very annoying… I had just finished the last audio book for He Who Fights Monsters and wanted to start a new series and this series was highly rated. After I got past the first few chapters and gotten used to the voice, there’s an engaging story line and awesome character development… even better news is that Book 2 heard my mental feedback and the narration is 100% better.
