For every problem the Dinosaur Dungeon core fixes, 3 more (potentially bigger) problems come up as a result. Decisive victory in a war was thwarted, creatures from the abyss have been pushed back, and the villains are coming back to hit all at once, and they’re bringing backup from both seen and unseen places.

The dinosaurs and wayward adventures continue to be a treat. There’s great action, dialogue, and development. Past mistakes begin to rear their ugly (and terrifying) heads, and the burdens they bare carry a weight that can break our heroes in more ways than one. It’s satisfying seeing them overcome all their issues and hold strong together. This audiobook and the story up to this point has been truly magical.

The growing issue toward the end of this book is the growing amount of problems that are happening EVERYWHERE. Without giving out any spoilers, with the growing amount of internal and external problems and threats popping up, it seems like the only way the issues will be resolved in future books will consist of a lot of epic ridiculousness. Still, the series has been a surprise enjoyment since book one and has continued to deliver a lot of laughs and action-packed dinosaur excitement. No real reason to lose faith now.
